Stepping up to the Plate

I'm glad to see the United States government stepping up to the plate to contribute to the relief efforts in Asia. One question...what the hell is Jeb Bush doing over there? Is his brother trying to build his resume so that he take a cabinet position?

I was listening to the radio on the way home today. There was a retired Army General talking about how we, our military is spread so thin. If something unexpected popped off in the world or at home, how would we handle it? Let's pray that we don't have to put our money where our gun slinging cowboy's mouth has been... we can't kick everybodies ass. We need more troops in Iraq. There will be NO draft...or so they say. What is we gonna do? Let's pray that nothing jumps off and we have some peace for a minute. Is it safe to say we won't be looking for nobody elses ass to kick without provocation? I don't know...
