Just a thought...

It's going to be a little harder to get public support to bomb countries, to bomb other people after you see that they suffer and hurt just like us. The natural disaster that impacted so many is connecting everyone together. It goes against the divide and conquer mentality that must exist to take advantage of others. People have been humanized, not villainized and made to look evil. Will we pay close attention next time when they try to pull the okey-doke on us and tell us another group of PEOPLE are evil. We see clearly how liberation can look. And we've seen how devastation and disaster can look at the hands and will of mother nature. We can only imagine the death and destruction inflicted by bombs sent to liberate a people.

The United States increased the amount of aid to the countries impacted by the earthquake and massive tidal waves that followed. We went from $15 million to $35 Million to $350 Million. I don't typically count in millions, so I'll look at it on a level easier for me to understand...I can do more with $350 compared to $35 in my checking account.

If there was no pressure...If the feeling that we could and can do better hadn't have reached the white house, than $15 Million would have been it. We have cities putting up $350 Million and more to build sports arenas...
