'When the Levees Broke': Director Spike Lee takes on Hurrican Katrina - toledoblade.com -

- toledoblade.com -: "There's a story in Spike Lee's new picture I can't shake from my head. It's told by a man who returned to his home in New Orleans after the flood waters from Hurricane Katrina receded. It has the nuance of great fiction. The son brought his father to their demolished house; his father had built the house after returning from World War II. His father became one of the most successful roofers in the city. He dealt with insurance adjusters all his life, but the father was in his 80s and his hearing was bad, so his son handled the man from the insurance company while the father stood off to one side."
