Today is August 20, 2006...
We have a few days left in August...September is around the corner. I didn't take a vacation this year because I didn't want to travel too far from home with baby on the way. It was my choice. A wise one too, but I missed not going somewhere. Maybe after baby arrives we can go somewhere in a few months. Baby doesn't have to stop anything. Right? Right! I can't wait to see the little face.

So much happening in the world. As Dick Gregory says, "Pray that the truth comes out." I will!

George Bush says Hezbollah lost. No one really agrees with him though. Not even the people that usually do agree with him. I pray that the American people who may still be asleep wake up when it comes to matters of American policy, foreign and domestic. There are a few who set the agendda and we react like pawns in a game. We must begin to think critically about things. We've been fed so many lies that it's very easy to swallow another and another. We don't know what the truth tastes like. Never had much of it.

TIPS: Stop relying on US press for information. Watch, listen to, read foreign press and compare to United States press.
Travel out of the country.
Get another perspective.
Read!
Watch documentaries.
Study history.
Reject the lies you tell yourself and those other tell you.
