Lawlessness
What about desperate? How we view others dictates what we call them, how we describe their behavior, and how we treat them. All the crimes that happens in a functioning United States city happened in New Orleans as conditions continued to deteriorate. This is unlike anything we have witnessed before in the United States. We, US citizens, expected more from our government. Why? I'm not sure.
If this is not about race and racism, ALL Americans should be asking the question, Is this how we as United States tax paying citizens can expect to be treated and responded to in a time of national disaster? Condie, is this the way the Bush Administration does relief and rescue in the United States? Just let us know. Do we need to ask another government to come and liberate us. Come to America to spread freedom and democracy to the black, poor, infirmed citizens of the United States of America?
