All Men Are Created Equally

All men are created equally in that it takes sperm and ovum to create life, but all lives are not equal. All human life is not equally valued. We plan and provide more security for the World Bank/IMF meetings in Washington, DC than we do for national disasters. We must make our elected officials aware of this fact in America and throughout the world. If we treat our poor, sick and infirmed Americans like this, how do you think we treated the people of Iraq and countless other countries that we have invaded and destroyed. New Orleans' oil is in the streets. In the water, mixed with dead bodies and disease. Iraq's is being pipelined into the pocketbooks and bank accounts of the God knows who.

Crime, substance abuse, poverty, homelessness, joblessness, anarchy in the projects...that was ALL there before this tragedy. It is magnified to the 100th degree under dire circumstance.
