Question- Civil War vs. Sectarian Violence vs. Insurgency

What the hell is the difference? While all this is happening in Iraq, what is the United States military doing? Which war are United States service women and men fighting? Who does their bullets and bomb target?

Iraq is being occupied by the United States. Which Iraqi, which group in Iraq views the United States as an ally? We are allegedly in Iraq fighting the so-called "war on terrorism". Who are the terrorists? What do they look like? How do they dress? How are they identified?

I wouldn't be surprised if the people started a Free Saddam!!! campaign. Well, maybe not... But, I know they have to hope for something better than what they have now.

Dr. Condolezza Rice said "It's not civil war when 12.5 million people go out and vote for a government that bridges all the sectarian groups. It's not civil war when the Iraqis are able to then, on the basis of that vote, form a unity government that is now trying to work both toward reconstruction and reconciliation. It's not civil war when you have a Prime Minister of Iraq who is himself a Shia who sits with a Defense Minister who is a Sunni, with an Interior Minister who is a Shia, with a President who is Kurdish. That's not civil war."

That sounds like her opinion...her spin. There are other spins and other opinions out there. That's what's happening in the so-called Iraqi government. What's happening on the streets, Dr. Rice? They can't even count on their police. Do they even have a military? And Bush wants to send more troops. Why? Why doesn't the "government that bridges all the sectarian groups" end the sectarian violence... Pass a resolution or something that addresses the escalation of violence in the region.

Dick Gregory always says pray that the truth will come out.

Let us pray!!!!
