What is a black leader? No one asked me, or no other black person I know, if they could lead us. Lead us where? No one speaks for me. There are many with whom I share views. They aren't leading me anywhere though.
What is a leader? Leader of who? Why are black leaders identified when there are no so-called white leaders identified? Who identifies them? The media? People don't go around calling themselves "black leaders". Who gave the label/title? Is it the media? ...Naming folks/groups like they named the residents of New Orleans during the Katrina catastrophe?
The folks that gathered at "The New Black Vanguard Conference" today don't speak for, or represent me.

Have liberal black leaders lead African-American families down the path of government dependency and immorality? It's a legitimate question according to Reverend Jesse Lee Peterson of the Brotherhood Organization of New Destiny.
'Jesse Jackson and Louis Farrakhan, the NAACP, the Congressional Black Caucus, most of the Black preachers who are not called by God, but by their mama, represent evil. And so those people who are on the side of good have to stand up and let the light shine on that evil so that the people can see and see the right way to go.'"
