White House Enacts a Plan to Ease Political Damage - New York Times

TO hell with politics! This is not business as usual. Spin will NOT work here. The tides have shifted! Who will the White House blame for the slow resonse to relief in Mississippi and Alabama? Will they blame New Orleans and Louisiana for Mississippi and Alabama? No one cares about politics. We care that our government did not respond in a timely manner to a NATIONAL DISASTER!!!!!!! Anyone with a heart can see that something needed to be done. The majority of Americans would have gone down there if they could have to build a human bridge to get those people out of New Orleans. Our government doesn't see their response-ability or lack thereof in this? OH MY GOD!!! Please don't believe the hype.
