Evacuees' Trek Continues - News - MSNBC.com: "DALLAS - Hurricane Katrina survivors who found temporary shelter at the Dallas Convention Center began a new journey Wednesday. The city of Dallas, as part of Project Exodus, started relocating the evacuees to Reunion Arena to consolidate facilities.
The city's goal was to transfer all the evacuees from the convention center by 2 p.m. Friday. The city needs the convention center for a scheduled event.
City officials project 1,000 evacuees will be housed at Reunion by the end of the week."
