The Courier-Mail: Bush unmoved by growing anti-war protests [28sep05]: "Ms Sheehan and prominent anti-war campaigner George Galloway, a member of the British parliament, addressed the rally and condemned Mr Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
The White House said opponents were free to speak but the protests would not change the President's views.
Spokesman Scott McClellan said he did not know what effects the protests had on Mr Bush.
'The President just strongly disagrees with those who say we need to withdraw from the Middle East,' he said. 'That would be the wrong approach. That would make us less safe and less secure.'"
