Al Sharpton, Franklin Graham pay impromptu visit to evacuees: "The paths of two nationally recognized religious leaders met in Shreveport on Friday when their crusades to bring assistance to Hurricane Katrina victims simultaneously -- and unintentionally -- wound up at the front door of Hirsch Memorial Coliseum.
The entourages of the Rev. Al Sharpton and the Rev. Franklin Graham arrived seconds apart, and the two surprised evangelists hugged upon meeting for the first time.
'I watch you on TV all the time,' Graham told Sharpton, a civil rights activist and outspoken critic of President Bush's response to Hurricane Katrina.
Then, turning to reporters, Graham said of Sharpton, 'Half the time I agree with him.'"
